South Gate Rams baseball team beat the Franklin Panthers in walk-off fashion 3-2. South Gate Rams move on and will compete in the SoCal Baseball Championship. They will face Fillmore today Tuesday May 30th at 4:00pm at South East High School. For tickets and exact location click here.
Posted 5/30/23The South Gate High School Boys Varsity Baseball Team is going to compete for the CIF- LA Division 2 Baseball Championship. Rams pitching has dominated these playoffs holding opponents to just 1 run over the course of three games. The offense has been stellar these playoffs averaging 8.3 runs per game. The Rams look to continue their hot streak this Friday May 26 vs. Franklin at 7:00 pm at Stengel Field in Glendale, CA. For tickets and more information click here.

a Brief History of SGHS
South Gate High School first opened its doors in January of 1930. South Gate HS alumni have pursued and succeeded in many different professions such as music, sports, performing arts, and human rights. South Gate HS started with the main building, facing Firestone Blvd., and progressively added buildings to accommodate more than 2,000 students.
Our staff and students continue the honor, pride and tradition of the South Gate family and invite new students and families to join the Ram Family.
