There are many ways to get involved at SGHS. The file below will show you all the clubs at South Gate High School and when and where they meet.
High School Latino Leaders in D.C. Summer Program
The HSLL program provides Latino High school students the chance to spend a week in Washington D.C., exploring the city and the role it plays in our nation's past, present, and future.
While in D.C. students will get the chance to:
- Visit historic monuments and sites
- Interact with national Latino leaders
- Tour Capitol Hill
- Meet with Members of Congress
- Learn how the political process works
- Explore museums
and much more!
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a current 9th, 10th, or 11th grade student.
- Demonstrate interest in learning about civic engagement.
