The Introduction to Computer Science program provides entry-level, upgrading of skills training, introduction to app development  and introduction to robotics. Jobs in the field include computer programmer, computer scientist, data analyst, game programmer and network analyst..

A variety of strategies and techniques are used to instruct the students. These include the following:

Assessment of Student Performance
Assessment of student performance will include but will not be limited to:

  • Classroom participation, punctuality and attendance
  • Completion of required assignments/portfolio
  • Individual and group projects
  • Tests and quizzes
  • Curriculum development and student evaluations are based upon the California Department of Education's Curriculum Frameworks and the California Technology Education Standards
